Coach Jamie Snider enters his eighth year at Yale and sixth with
the heavyweight crew. Initially Snider was involved with women’s
crew at Yale, leading the 1995 third varsity to a 10-4 record.
In 1997 he guided the undefeated third varsity to an Eastern Sprints
gold medal. At New London he lead the ‘combo’ crew
to a season ending win over Harvard.
Prior to Yale, Snider was the head coach for the Cincinnati Junior
Women’s Program. There, his crews medaled at the Stotesbury
Cup and Midwest and American Rowing Championships. Snider has
also served as an assistant/rigger for the Men’s National
Pre -Elite Team in the World University Games.
