Mr. Shah is also the co-founder and Vice Chairman of the US India Business Alliance (USIBA) with a mission to promote investment and trade between the US and India. In United Status, the USIBA is chaired by former House Majority Leader, Richard Armey. In India, it is co-chaired by Dr. Arun Shourie, former Minister of Disinvestment, Communications and Information Technology, and Mr. Salman Khurshid, former Minister of External Affairs. The USIBA has led Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack's and former Virginia Governor Mark Warner's delegations to India as well as trade delegations from several states including North Carolina, New Mexico, and Alabama. The USIBA, in conjunction with the House International Relations Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, launched the Congressional Task Force on US-India Investment and Trade Relations on Capitol Hill. USIBA, in cooperation with the Task Force, parallels the work of the US-India CEO Forum at the legislative level.
Mr. Shah is also the Founder Chairman of the Future Leaders Council of the US India Political Action Committee (USINPAC), the largest national bi-partisan advocacy organization representing the over 2 million Indian Americans. The USINPAC works with members of Congress of both parties, as well as the administration, to ensure that the community's concerns are addressed. For the past four years, Mr. Shah has co-led US Congressional and CEO Delegations for talks with the Prime Minister and top government and business leaders of India.
Mr. Shah holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was elected President of the Globalization Club and an Honors BBA degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University, where he graduated at the top of his class. He has also completed the Eisenhower Leadership Development Program led by former President, George H. Bush.
