Welcome

The mission of the Yale Energy Club is to keep its members abreast of economic, policy, technology and societal issues in the energy sector.  The club introduces Yale students to careers in the energy sector and provides networking opportunities for students and alumni . 

 

We will deliver on our goals through five main types of activities:

· Hosting leaders on campus;

· Travelling to visit leading organizations;

· Connecting with alumni;

· Competing in international competitions; and

· Increasing recruitment of Yale students into the energy sector.

 

 

Þ Planning continues on the impending Yale Alumni Energy Conference, scheduled for October 10, 2008 in New Haven. Details to follow.

 

Þ Energy Club wishes club leader and all-round energy rock star Roberto Jimenez the best for his Fall 2008 semester abroad. We’ll miss you Roberto!

 

Þ Energy Club bids farewell to our 2007-08 club leaders: Vinod Pathrose, Ian Fisher and Justin Tomljanovic. Thanks for all your hard work over the past year, and good luck!

 

Þ Energy Club hosted Rich Peters, SOM’01, who presented to students on the challenges and opportunities in the U.S. transmission market.
