KEN ELDRED
CEO, Living Stones Foundation



Ken is currently an investor and founder/CEO of Living Stones Foundation Charitable Trust. He has founded numerous successful companies, including Ariba Technologies, leader in the Internet business-to-business industry, and Inmac, which went public in 1987 and later merged with Micro Warehouse. Internationally, he is co-founder and director of Epicenter Technologies, a call center based in India with over 1,000 employees. He has also established ventures in Europe and China.

Ken was named Silicon Valley “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 1988. He serves on the Board of Advisors for Crosspoint Venture Partners, which was once named by Forbes as the most successful venture firm for three years in a row. He was a visiting fellow at The Hoover Institution and the Lauder Executive-in-Residence at Auburn University School of Business.

Currently, Ken focuses his efforts primarily on charitable projects. He is a pioneer in a movement called Kingdom Business and recently published God Is at Work (Regal Books, 2005) which explains how Christian principles can bring success and value to the business world. Ken is often called upon as a speaker, advisor and mentor for Kingdom Business development.

Ten years ago Ken started and still leads a weekly Bible study for business leaders in Silicon Valley. Ken is an elder at Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea—the world’s largest church led by Pastor David Yonggi Cho with over 750,000 members.

Ken was a member of the President’s IT Advisory Committee and was also a member of the Commerce Department Transition Committee for the George W. Bush Campaign. He was significantly involved in the creation of the eChampions program.

Ken was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and he holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
