Welcome
Visitor
On behalf of the
Black Business Alliance (BBA), we thank you for your interest in the Yale
School of Management. We are convinced that as you gather more information
about our school, you will quickly find that we are different from other
programs in that we are a small close-knit and highly collaborative community.
We also attract students with backgrounds in business, government, and
nonprofit organizations from over 50 countries around the world. This makes the
learning experience much richer. Add to that a robust career development office
and world-renowned faculty and you'll see why we chose Yale.
Here in the BBA, our goal is to enrich the diversity experience at Yale. In
particular we focus on minority affairs at the school. We work closely with the
Admissions Office to attract the best minority candidates. We work in hand with
the Alumni Association, the Dean's Office, Office of Students Affairs and the
Career Development Office to enhance the value of the MBA to our minority
students. Augmenting the BBA's efforts is the Black Graduate Network (BGN), an
organization that brings together minorities from all the professional and
graduate schools at Yale for networking purposes.
We encourage you to visit the campus and get a feel for what Yale SOM can do
for you. Let us get a chance to know you as you evaluate us to determine if
Yale is the right place for you. We know how complex the admissions process can
be and only wish you the best in finding the right school.
Sincerely,
Ezzard
